Donald Trump says Europe is destroying itself with mass immigration, while Eric Adams panders to the same
Immigration is killing Europe, warned U.S. President Donald Trump as he arrived in northern Britain for a four-day visit to Scotland.Well he's correct about all that, and it's going to be extremely difficult getting European governments to do the right thing for a change. Back in the USA, however, incumbent NYC mayor Eric Adams seems to be pandering to illegal immigration on the one hand, and possibly making it easier for Zohran Mamdani to be elected on the other:
President Donald Trump touched down at Glasgow Prestwick Airport in Scotland on Friday evening and briefly delivered on-camera remarks before travelling to his Turnberry golf resort, in which he warned of Europe despoiling its natural beauty with wind turbines and destroying itself with mass migration.
While he kicked off with wind energy — President Trump has objected to green energy products marring the natural beauty of his ancestral Scotland for many years — his most strident comments of the huddle were on open borders, as he warned of an existential threat to the continent.
President Trump said: “You better get your act together or you’re not going to have a Europe any more. You’ve got to get your act together… you’re allowing it to happen to your countries, and you’ve got to stop this horrible invasion that’s happening to Europe”.
Urging European leaders to “shut it down”, Trump boasted of America’s own recent achievements in border control, noting “last month we had nobody entering our country, nobody”.
In all, President Trump said, “immigration is killing Europe”, and wind turbines are “killing the beauty of your countries”.
On Friday’s broadcast of Fox 5 New York’s “Good Day New York,” New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) discussed the federal lawsuit filed over the city’s sanctuary policy and stated that the policy is because “we must make sure that citizens or non-documents or whomevers that’s in the city get the services they deserve.” And if you buy something, you pay taxes and “when people use the term of sanctuary city, what we’re saying is that you have the right with your tax dollars to get the resources you deserve.”The part about "non-documents" is the clue what's gone wrong here. Adams clearly hasn't strayed far from his leftist positions, yet the worst part is that it'll probably end up leading to Mamdani being elected. Then things will really continue going down the drain in the Big Apple.
